Hello and welcome to our new blog!
We are using this as a space to share about our adventures, and some of the memories we have captured on camera whilst in different places.
This past weekend we went down to the coast, to Brighton and the Seven Sisters, as we were celebrating our friend, Ruth's birthday!
Our trip started off in Brighton. Perusing through markets in the street, past a galore of coffee shops, restaurants, murals and some very cool people. We really love it's artistic vibe! The two guys on the right of this photo were trying their best to strike a pose for it too.
Next up, we grabbed food (some fantastic bagels from a shop called 'Bagelman') and headed to the beach. Sam nearly got attacked by a seagull (one of his worst nightmares), but we still enjoyed the food, and got this snap of a merri-go-round on the beach.
Then we went down to the Seven Sisters - about 40 minutes drive from Brighton to the East (though many people had taken the bus too.) These are the amazing white cliffs on the South coast of England.
Lot's of walking, and lot's of fun! We even saw a Spitfire flying overhead (much to Sam and Adam's amazement!)
Janet took this shot of the white cliffs on our way back - we love the bushes in the foreground, and how they help draw your eyes onto the cliffs in the distance!
All around, this was a beautiful walk on a beautiful day! Once you had walked quite a bit further, to Beachy Head (where the red and white lighthouse is) it really came into it's own, as you started to get out of the crowds a bit. And Brighton as ever offers a creative buzz that makes us definitely want to go back! It was a Saturday, and so was VERY busy! A weekday next time we think will be much better.
